In 2013, Cognac from the growth area of Grande Champagne in Segonzac, known for the subtlety of its eaux-de-vie, obtained the national mark supported by the Ministries of Culture, Tourism, Environment and Agriculture and is now one of 70 noteworthy taste sites in France.
Every year, on the first weekend in February, Grande Champagne cognac organises a three-day Salon des Sites Remarquables du Goût, with a labelled product in the spotlight.
Throughout the weekend, the show will feature a series of workshops and events focusing on tasting and gastronomy.
The “Sites Remarquables du Goût” network is an opportunity to discover the wide range of flavours in France’s culinary heritage and to showcase the diversity of French local produce, with a selection of exceptional products.
A culinary journey through all the regions of France, with a stopover every February in Segonzac, capital of Grande Champagne.
