Guided Tour Hennessy | Immersive Initiation

Designed with newcomers in mind, the Hennessy Immersive Initiation Tour offers an introductory overview of the Maison's legacy, its time-honored craftsmanship, and the secrets of cognac-making. Board a shuttle for a brief crossing of the Charente River — an essential part of the Maison’s history — and step into a culture of excellence and dedication to savoir-faire.
Highlights of this two-hour odyssey for beginners include a visit to the Pavillon cellar, where the Maison’s saga comes to life.
From May 2023, our guided tours include a next-generation immersive experience and virtual reality odyssey: MOBILIS, the brainchild of world-renowned French artists Olivier Kuntzel & Florence Deygas. Together with a team of 50 talented artists and artisans, they drew a whimsical portrait of Maison Hennessy following a ‘carte blanche’ invitation from our President, Laurent Boillot.
Two years in the making, this ambitious work of art blends the simplicity of drawing together with cutting-edge technology, bringing our history and craftsmanship to life in a way never seen before. A must-see when visiting Cognac, MOBILIS cements Hennessy’s position as a landmark wine tourism destination.
It also includes a visit of an active ageing cellar where you’ll learn about the phenomenon known as the “angels’ share.”
A presentation of the Hennessy Tasting Committee’s daily ritual is followed by a guided tasting of two of Hennessy’s most popular cognacs, Hennessy V.S and Hennessy V.S.O.P — neat, on the rocks and in a cocktail.
