Porte Saint-Jacques
Opening Spring 2025! Main vestige of the ramparts that encircled the town in the Middle Ages, the Porte Saint-Jacques has become one of Cognac's most emblematic monuments. It opens its doors to the public to reveal its history.
A scenographic tour in 4 rooms tells the story of the gate, using a variety of media (scale model, film, etc.). The terrace, also open to the public, offers a panoramic view of the old town and the Charente river.
