Welcome to the abbey of St Amant de Boixe!

This former and ancient Benedictine abbey, founded by the counts of Angoulême, a jewel of Romanesque architecture, is open to the public and presents Romanesque art in a playful and interactive way. Every year numerous cultural events are organized. English tape guides are available at the information desk, included in the price.
