For this new edition, the association Histoire et culture à Bourg-Charente invites you to the Clos de la Treille. This historical show retraces the true history of a tradition and know-how unique in the world… cognac.
The Bourg-Charente Son et Lumière continues its journey through French history with a new show in 2018 dedicated to the history of cognac. 10 scenes retrace the birth of this golden beverage, born of legend and the delight of François 1st, which went through difficult times marked by vine disease, but also the splendour of an incredible success story!
The story of cognac is told through 10 tableaux: from Antiquity to the present day. The 2025 show will retrace the true history of a tradition and know-how that is unique in the world… cognac.
