Seugnac Estate

My current Belgian owners, Sylvie and Sylvain, fell in love with this natural and historical region which straddles the current departments of Charente-Maritime and Charente, in the south-west of France and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
They like to share their passion for the place and the region. Their curiosity and thirst for discovery will allow you, if you wish, to hear the legends of the region and the most magical places to discover.
In the land register, it seems that I am a castle… is it due to my age 1494? But the term ‘home’ is much more in keeping with the spirit that reigns there.
I am located on one of the routes to Santiago de Compostela, near Pons. Charming medieval town with a keep and a UNESCO-listed pilgrims’ hospital. But I am also close to Jonzac, famous for its thermal baths, its casino and its aquatic centre. Only 30 minutes from the Atlantic, Royan and just over an hour from Bordeaux, La Rochelle, the Futuroscope in Poitiers and the Oleron Island.
Heading south on the A10 motorway, taking exit 36, I follow a relaxing stop only 6km away.
