2025 will be the year of an eco-responsible biennial! Julienne takes a new turn! During this period, 5 artists will be bringing to life contemporary works made entirely by hand, in a more modest format and with less noise and dust. Come and chat with them, and discover art as close as possible to the creative gesture!

Every two years, artists of various nationalities are invited to create contemporary sculptures in Poitou stone in the presence of the public, as part of the International Sculpture Symposium organized by the Julienne Métiers d'art et Tourisme association. Each of the six invited sculptors will create an original monumental work on a common theme in the presence of the public.
In July and August, as part of the Eté Actif en Charente (Active Summer in Charente) program, one-day introductory sculpture courses are offered for young and old, aged 8 and over.
More than twenty majestic sculptures from previous editions of the Symposium are on display in the center of town, forming a permanent open-air museum. Free admission.
