Guided Tour of Thomas Hine & C° – Producer of Cognac
The Monday 14 October at 09 a.m00
16 quai de l'Orangerie 16200 Jarnac
Now 260 years old, Hine opens its doors to you in Jarnac for exclusive experiences and workshops to be enjoyed at Hine and nowhere
else.
else.
Have you ever met a deer that spoke Frenglish ? A cheese that dreams of being paired with a cognac? Have you ever combined the two meanings of the word "cru"? Set foot in Paradise?
Maison Hine, often described as the benchmark of excellence in the world of cognac, opens its doors to you on a private visit to Jarnac. Our experience center, set on the banks of the unpredictable Charente river, invites you to an immersion into the very essence of this emblematic spirit.
You’ll take the time to discover the history of the cognac spirit and Hine House, while sipping a cup of tea, and find yourself transported back through the centuries, exploring the deep roots of cognac. From the vine to the glass, our creative craftsmen all have their say, and contribute their stone to the edifice. The walls of our ageing cellars tell the fascinating story of this noble beverage, from its craft origins to its contemporary refinement.
Our trilogy: our signature “at Hine and nowhere else”. Cognacs made exclusively from Grande and Petite Champagne vintages, distilled on the lees, and aged in fine grain oak with light to moderate toasting. Every detail of the production process is revealed here.
During this escapade, and through different experiences, let yourself be seduced by exceptional eaux-de-vie, to be enjoyed neat or in cocktails, or accompanied by delicate food and cognac pairings that will reveal surprising combinations and captivate your palate.
Please drink responsibly.
